OUR LOVE STORY

Eric and I met on an online dating site. I used to hate telling people that because I thought it sounded weird but this is the 21st century and that is pretty common. He was just getting back into the dating game and I was once again trying my luck on the site.
After a few days of messaging back and forth and stalking pictures of each other we decided that it was time to meet. We went to Olive Garden for dinner and it went pretty well.

Eric wasn't who I had ever imagined my prince to be but in many ways I wasn't who he imagined his princess to be. Like me, Eric had experienced a failed marriage and knew what it was like to be lonely. We had an immediate connection. We really didn't date very long but when you know what you don't want it is easy to be happy when you find it.
He had three kids and I had one. We were both gospel centered and had the same dreams. It really did seem that easy (except for the fact that I would be the mother of four kids instead of one). In the end Eric and I decided to blend our family and start a new story together.

Now, we live in a town house in Rexburg, Idaho while he attends school for Civil Engineering. On top of our four other children we have a sweet baby girl together who has really bonded our family together. We have really handled the transition of blending our families well. That is not to say that we didn't have some really difficult times but the really great times makes it all worth it.
I am so very thankful for all the Lord has blessed me with and I pray that I will continue to be worthy of His amazing blessings.
